Hello Fellow Archerombies,

It will be hot on the week-end. Remember water, hat, sunnies, sunscreen and
take regular breaks.

Please read the news from Archery Australia News. Dissapointing to see
great events marred by the behaviour of a few. Please take time to read the
attached Code of Conduct from Archery Australia.

Also great hints for Christmas.

The recent National Championships at Morwell was a great event and many
thanks go to the Committee and members of Twin City Archers.

Unfortunately, this event was marred in the same way as this year’s
National Youth Championships, by the behaviour of a few.

For this reason it is timely to bring this matter to everyone’s attention.

Each member of Archery Australia when joining through their club, agree to
abide by Archery Australia Policies and Rules.

Policy No 1002 Code of Conduct which can be found at the following link on
the Archery Australia website –
details the behaviour that is expected from everyone.

This policy applies to all competitors, coaches, managers, administrators,
parents and family members and spectators.

We have had reports of offensive, aggressive and intimidating behaviour
from a small number of people toward their fellow competitors or toward
competitors by a coach of another competitor.

We have dealt with a number of these incidents directly but feel it is
timely to remind everyone of their personal responsibilities in this area.

Everyone should be aware of the shooting rules and your rights. If you have
an issue with anyone at a tournament bring this immediately to the
attention of a Judge or official. This also applies to your club activities.

Following the recent launch of our promotional T shirt range, we have now
expanded the range to both unisex and female style shirts and a range of

We have also currently developed a range of over 20 designs.

More information and ordering instructions can be found at the following

This is a great way to promote the sport to everyone.

Over the coming weeks we will also introduce a range of Polo shirts.

RGBs, Clubs and individuals do you have an event, tournament or activity
you want to promote? We can also offer the service of producing your own
unique designs or images on T shirts.

Simply send us a copy of the design or image you would like on a T Shirt
and we can arrange a quote. It will be cheaper than you think.

We have one club currently providing a free T Shirt as a souvenir to anyone
taking an instruction or Come N Try Session at their club, they have
factored the cost into the fee.

One club recently ran a Charity Day and we also produced custom T Shirts
for their volunteers.

We can also offer Safety Vests to RGBs and Clubs with their own logos and
club name.
