Graeme John Jeffrey (Life Member and Coach for the Centenary Archers Club)
passed away peacefully last Tuesday (4 August 2015) with his family in
Tasmania. He and his family celebrated Graeme’s 57th birthday just days
before on 29 July.

He was one of the founding members of the Centenary Archers Club and a
driving force behind the club for more than 30 years. Countless numbers of
new archers were introduced to the sport through Graeme’s friendly nature,
coaching prowess and his overwhelming enthusiasm for our sport.

Graeme’s family describe him as a “Draftsman, Archer, Coach and Sadly
Missed” – he was also a loyal friend who was always willing to share a joke
and a chocolate.

Although he will be greatly missed at our club he will be remembered
through the annual Graeme Jeffrey Memorial Shoot to be held in October.

Graeme’s funeral will be held this Friday 14th August in Tasmania and his
family have asked that in lieu of flowers, friends remember Graeme with a
donation to Brain Cancer Research. (Graeme’s funeral notice is in the
Courier Mail 8 August 2015).

Warm regards
